INDUSTRY INSTITUTE INTERACTION CELL
In keeping with the modern trend of the kind of Engineering
Graduates required in the industries, the Engineering Institutions
are required to deliver what may be called a ready to perform
Executives. Dr.MCET is one such Institution, which has strongly
felt the need for renovating knowledge and to help the students
to realign themselves to the continually increasing demands
of the Industry.
The centre for Industry Institute
Interaction has been constituted in the College campus exactly
for this purpose. The centre is headed by a Co-ordinator who
is assisted by a Program Advisory Committee. Two faculties
drawn from each branch of Engineering constitute the Program
Advisory Committee. The primary task of the C-III is as listed
below:
- As member of the associations such as
CII and Codessia it is the duty of the CIII to interact
and build relationship with the member and other Industries
so the platform is provided for the students to get inplant
training and to do project work on any topic based on
the activity of the Industrial unit. Sch Industrial exposures
will help the students to co-relate the technical knowledge
they acquire in their course of study to become knowledge
based. Such industrial training and project works will
be made meaningful by deputing a faculty to guide and
evaluate the students through out their stay at their
place of training.
- To provide a platform for the faculty
of the Institution and Industry to share their expertise
of subject or the area of specialization in the Industry
respectively.
- To provide consultancy services in the
form of technology/improvisation techniques for the select
Industries with the available resourses and infrastructure.
Thus both the faculty and
the students get expertise and gets benefited with this interaction
cell.
