MECHANICA (Mechanical Engineering Association), primarily formed to involve students in extra curricular activities like seminars, workshops, symposium, in-plant training, industrial visits, etc, guides and motivates students to organize and participate in such activities.
It also organizes periodic guest lectures to throw light on latest trends and developments in the field of mechanical engineering with eminent professors and industry personnel.

Association activities planned for the academic year 2004 – 2005 include:

1. In-plant training – May / June
2. Guest lectures – 1st week of July, 2nd week of August, 1st week of December, 2nd week of February
3. Technical Symposium – July
