Prof.A.Rathinavelu received
his MTech degree from Edith Cowen University,
Perth, Australia in the year 2003.
He is currently working as Associate Professor and PG dept head in
Computer science and Engg at Dr.Mahalingam College of Engg and
Technology, Pollachi. He has over 16 years of academic and industrial
experience. Dr.A.Rathinavelu was incharge of the CSE department (UG)
since its inception to June 2008. During his tenure as Head of the UG
department, the intake increased from 40 to 120, the ME CSE progamme was
commenced in 2005 and the department gained accreditation status for the
period 2007-2010. He is a member in ACM , CISCO Academy Council (India
& SAARC) , CSI and ISTE. He obtained his Doctoral Degree from
National Institute of Technology, Trichy. His area of research interest
includes computer graphics and animation, multimedia technologies, Web
Techonology and Speech sciences. He has published and presented over 25
papers at various National and International conferences and journals. He
also takes care of IT enabled services and Value based education centers
in the Campus.
