Department of Computer Applied Sciences

Department of Computer Applied Sciences comprising of B.Sc. (Computer Technology and Information Technology), M.Sc. (Software Engineering) and Master of Computer Applications was established to cater the needs of the students aspiring to persue education in the field of computer applications. These courses are approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.

The courses B.Sc. (Computer Technology) and B.Sc. (Information Technology) were established in the year 1999 and 2000 respectively and M.Sc (Software Engineering) in the year 2001. The above programmes were affiliated to Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore till 2001 and later to Anna University, Chennai except for the 2001 batch of M.Sc (Software Engineering) which will continue to be under Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore.
