Auditorium

A multi purpose auditorium has been inagurated on the occation of the centenary celebrations of our beloved founderer Amarar P. Nachimuthu Gounder with an innovative curved space frame roof structure. The hollow tube sections and solid ball joints truss is one of its kind in this part of the country. Natural lighting and ventilation is blended in the architecture for energy efficiency. Ample open paved landscaped spaces around the complex and parking area provides easy access and convenience. Flexibility is inbuilt in the centre to convert from the sport area to either a auditorium or a cultural arena at a short notice.

Spanning an area of approximately 25500 sq.feet, with a height of 40 feet meets all requirements for conducting indoor games of international standards. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 1250 spectators, which include gym, a sports director's office and about 5000 sq. feet of accomodation for visiting sportsmen and their coaches in the first floor. The following games are presently in the agenda of regular use - Basket ball, Volley ball, Tennis, Shuttle, Badminton, Table tennis and other indoor games.

Culture, being a tradition in this institution, the auditorium stage is built in this centre is about 2400 sq.feet in area, with green room facility and audio/video control room. The future events includes Trade fairs, Exhibitions, Symphonies, Sports events, Conferences, Large Gathering etc.
